Terms of Service

These terms are between you and TODO: operator legal name for Mosaicly. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 to create an account. You are responsible for the password and for activity under the account. One person per account. We may refuse or close an account that breaks these terms.

Mosaicly turns images you upload into grid mosaics: a colored page, a numbered page to color, a palette legend, and a PDF in KDP trim sizes. Output is produced by image processing on our servers, not by an AI model. Finished files are deleted after 72 hours unless you delete them first. The service may change or pause.

A generation is used only when a new image is turned into a mosaic. Uploading, palette edits, and previews do not use one. A failed generation is restored.

Every account gets 10 free generations each calendar month. Unused free generations do not roll over. Paid packs (Creator (100 generations), Pro (500 generations), Publisher (2,000 generations)) add generations that do not expire. Generations have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and cannot be exchanged between accounts.

Packs are one-time purchases. There is no subscription and no trial. Paddle is the merchant of record: your purchase is a contract with Paddle, and Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the payment. The price shown at checkout includes applicable tax. We add the generations after Paddle confirms the payment.

Generation packs are not refunded. If a generation fails, times out, or is interrupted, we restore that generation to your account. Deleting a finished mosaic does not restore the generation and does not refund the payment.

This does not limit rights you have under the law that applies to you, or rights Paddle must honour as merchant of record. The short version of this section is also at Refunds.

You keep ownership of images you upload and of the mosaics we generate from them. You grant us a licence to store and process those files only to run the service and to produce your download. You confirm you have the rights needed to upload each image and to print or sell the result, including on Amazon KDP. We do not review uploads before processing them.

Paid packs include commercial use of the mosaics you generate while those generations are available. The free allowance is for personal use only. You may not resell access to Mosaicly or offer generation as a service to other people.

Do not:

• Upload images you do not have the right to use.
• Upload illegal content.
• Probe, overload, or bypass the generation limits. Requests are rate limited.
• Share an account or resell generations.

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that generation will succeed, that a file will match a printer’s requirements, or that the service will be available at a particular time. You should download output before the 72-hour deletion.

To the extent the law allows, TODO: operator legal name is not liable for lost profits, lost files, or indirect damages, and total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us for packs in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

You may ask us to close the account by emailing TODO: contact email. We may close an account that breaks these terms. Generations already paid for are not refunded when an account closes, except where a refund is required by law. Sections that should survive — content licence for files we still hold, liability, and governing law — do survive.

These terms are governed by the laws of TODO: governing law, except where the law where you live requires otherwise. Paddle’s buyer terms govern the payment itself.

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page will change. If you keep using Mosaicly after that date, you accept the update. Packs already purchased keep the generation rules that applied at purchase, including no expiry and the refund rule above.
